COH Preschool

The Church of the Hills established a weekday preschool in 1994 to meet the needs of those in our community who desire a Christian learning environment for their preschool aged children. The purpose of the preschool is to provide a quality "whole-child" developmental experience in a safe, caring, nurturing, and fun Christian environment. 

The preschool is available to children one year of age through Pre-K and follows a set curriculum. Each class has one lead teacher and one assistant.  Chapel, Movement and Music class, as well as Storytelling are offered weekly. The pre-K classes have a Spanish class once per week, while the three year olds will have Spanish bi-weekly. In addition, the pre-K and three year old classes (3 and 4 day only) enjoy a Science class bi-weekly. 

There are currently 186 children in The Church of the Hills preschool. The preschool is directed by Pris Horne, a Christian Education graduate of Rhodes College, Memphis, TN and assistants, Lisa Lucas, who has a B.S. degree in Administrative Management from Clemson University and Anne Aycock who has a B.A. is Psychology from Clemson University and a Masters Specialist in School Psychology from University of South Carolina.
